Hermione Cat Bumz vs Izaak the Blue Slushy: Which Plush Fits?

Quick answer

Choose the Hermione Cat Bumz plush if you want a small, sensory-friendly Harry Potter collectible at a lower price. Choose the 12-Inch Izaak the Blue Slushy if you want a larger, named Squishmallow companion for cuddling and display.

Size and price set these two apart

The clearest difference is size: Izaak is a 12-inch plush, while Hermione Cat is a Bumz beanbag-style plush that is smaller. That size gap changes how you use them—Izaak works as a bed or couch companion, while Hermione Cat fits on a shelf or in a small collection.

Price also separates them. At catalog prices, Hermione Cat is the lower-cost option, making it easier to add to a themed display or buy as a small gift. Izaak costs more but gives you a larger plush for the money.

Play style and collection theme

Hermione Cat is part of the Harry Potter Bumz line and is described as great for sensory play, so it suits fans who like to handle and fidget with their plush. Izaak is an Original Squishmallows character with his own name and bio, which appeals to collectors who enjoy the Squishmallow squad concept.

If your collection is built around Harry Potter characters, Hermione Cat fits that theme directly. If you prefer Squishmallows or want a single larger cuddly plush, Izaak is the more natural pick.

What you give up with each

Choosing Hermione Cat means accepting a smaller plush that may not be as satisfying for hugging or lounging. Choosing Izaak means spending more and giving up the Harry Potter theme and the beanbag sensory feel.

Neither plush includes a display stand or extra accessories in the supplied information, so plan your own shelf or storage space accordingly.

Key trade-offs to weigh

• Size vs. portability: Izaak is 12 inches and better for hugging; Hermione Cat is smaller and easier to store or carry. Decide whether you want a plush to cuddle or one to tuck away.
• Price vs. plush size: Hermione Cat costs less, but Izaak gives you more plush for the higher price. Set a budget before choosing; both are affordable but at different levels.
• Theme vs. Squishmallow squad: Hermione Cat fits Harry Potter collections; Izaak fits Squishmallows collections. Pick the one that matches the collection you already have.
